Are you struggling to support someone with anxiety?

Are you overwhelmed and suppressing your own feelings?

Join us for an informative empowering workshop that will allow you to understand anxiety and discover the tools to nurture your well-being and improve your mental health whilst supporting the people in your life.

What to expect:

Beautiful surroundings, tranquil countryside and a delicious lunch. Informative evidence based workshop focused on what anxiety is, how it affects both mind and body, what we can do about it and what are the best ways to reduce or eliminate anxious feelings and panic. Opportunity to explore forest bathing as a supportive practice to help reduce stress and anxiety and reconnect with yourself and nature.Introduction to simple breathwork and meditation practices that are proven to help with anxiety and the symptoms of anxiety such as; stomach aches, digestion issues, intense startle responses, rapid heart rate, dizziness, trembling and insomnia.

Explore somatic practices, self-care and muscle relaxation techniques that are known to aid in the relief of physical symptoms such as tension, fatique and muscle pain.

Workshop Practitioners

Sara Copley, PGD. IMC MCMA.Sara is a qualified psychotherapist, mindfulness and compassion teacher/ coach and nature therapist with over 15 years of experience working and practicing in the field of mental health. Currently running her own business, Azumi-Wellness and working within the NHS mental health services. 

Sara specialises in the treatment of anxiety and related disorders with a specific interest in third wave therapies.Claire Ashby, BA(hons). STA. ISRM. STT(OSSM).

Claire is a qualified soft tissue therapist and mental health first aider with a special interest in anxiety relief that developed following her own personal experience of anxiety and burnout from corporate work. 

Claire is a self-employed sports massage therapist and BeHumanKind facilitator and coach with a particular interest in self and body awareness and making space for change as an aid to our improved wellbeing.
